Don't get me wrong i love football but how can Italy get so many chances and not score,is Toni over rated or just unlucky?personally i think he's a one trick pony lump the ball onto his head goal but in Euro 2008 he was found out he's Rubbish compared to Arshavin and he's Russian for God sake but he put us out so the Italians didn't deserve anything from the Euros they are like France poor.

Separated at birth...
NOW I know why France are being crap this year, the manager is too worried about cleaning up his mess from the last budget...

It's the Clark Kent effect, smarter hair and a pair of glasses...
Offside confusion
Apparently the first Holland goal last night was perfectly valid - even though Panucci was lying injured off the field of play, in no way participating in the game, this was still enough to make Van Nistelrooy onside.
Isn't this odd? There is a specific rule that an attacker can be considered to be 'not interefering with play' and therefore not offside, yet when a defender is clearly not interefering with play he is still considered to be part of the game.
Such a stupid, stupid rule.
And yes, this post is motivated almost fully by bitterness in its purest and most vitriolic form.
FA devalue England Caps.
Old England players must now be amazed as to how easy it is to earn an England cap these days. The recent fiasco against Trinidad puts it all into perspective.
Seven subs were used, which means that some players got a previously much-valued cap for less than 10 minutes on the pitch. Surely the worst occasion was a little while back when in a game versus Australia, the whole team was substituted at half-time.
Also,in an age when we are taxed to the hilt in the name of global warming do we really need an England team to across the Atlantic to play a meaningless out of season friendly.
